NASH CL2002

Description

REBUILT NASH CL-2002 VACUUM PUMP

NASH CL-2002

Body: Repair weld all washed areas, pre-machine to accept a stainless steel (SS) liner,

using (SS) material. The sweep area will be 1⁄4” thickness to the side. The center shroud will be

constructed of 1⁄2” (SS) material. The outer body shrouds on drive end (DE) and idle end (IE)

will be 1⁄2” (SS) to the side. The sweep area will be held fast using plug welds to (SS) installed

from the cast iron to the (SS) liner for sealing purposes (approximately 20 plug welds). This special

process as a special two step welding procedure between cast iron and (SS) at

the gasket areas. The (SS) liner acts as a body within a body with no exposed cast iron. We fill

the voided space between the liner with fiberglass resin to insure there is an absence of resonance

created. All plugs on the body are drilled oversized and (SS) bushings installed, tapped, and

capped off with (SS) plugs.

Cones: Machine a cut of approximately .250 around the sides of both cones. Will

roll a stainless steel 1⁄4” thick clad around the cones and machine cut to print specifications. Anchor

the (SS) cladding to the cones with a series of plug welds using stainless steel

rod\wire. The openings around the inlets and discharge ports will be welded and ground smooth.

The cladding will be welded around the end tips, and the inner most area of the cone tapers. The

installed cladding will be machined to finished print specifications.

Heads: Machine a cut around the circumference of the head where the rabbets fit and

gasket surface connect. A machined cut will be removed from the face of the head adjacent to the

rabbet fit area. A machine cut will be made to accommodate the installation of a 3/8” precise

circular shaped stainless steel wear face plate. The (SS) wear plate will be anchored\afixed with

plug welds around the circumference of the rabbets fit area. The installed wear plates will be

machined to finished print specifications.

Rotor: A machined cut from the three (3) shrouds will be made, and fabricated stainless steel

wear rings will be installed onto the rotor shrouds. The outer edges on the I.D. of the stainless

rings will be chamfered. A weld at the outer side of the ring and face of the rotor will be made to

bond the ring to the surface. A weld will be made to the inner face of the rotor shroud, filling the

chamfered ring with nickel rod\wire. The installed ring will be machined across the outer side to

finish print specifications. Any worn areas, on the rotor buckets, shrouds etc. will be filled with

nickel rod\wire. A machine cut will be taken in the taper-bore area to allow the installation of

stainless-steel cladded cones.

The following shop supplies will be installed:

Bearings Clipper Seals

Gaskets Packing

O’rings Misc. Small Parts

Warranty: The pump, if repaired as stated above, will be guaranteed 95% new pump capacity,

and will carry a two (2) year parts, and workmanship, warranty from the date of installation.

Swap-out: Global Equipment is prepared to offer the above-described pump on a swap-out basis. The repaired pump would be shipped freight collect. After installation of the repaired pump the damaged pump will be shipped prepaid back to Global.
